Buckingham Palace has served as the official London residence of the UK’s sovereigns since 1837 and today is the administrative headquarters of the Monarch. The official residence of the Queen, doors are open to the public every summer. The palace is located in the city of Westminster. During the summer, there are special exhibits. Each state room such as, White Drawing Room, Throne Room, and Ballroom, are open to the public during the summer. The year 2019 marks 200 years since Queen Victoria's birth so a special exhibition tells the story of how the young queen transformed Buckingham Palace from a private house into a working royal residence. A visit to the State Rooms with a guided tour of the most remarkable features of the beautiful gardens. Buckingham Palace shop offers a wide range of gifts. The Garden café serves light refreshment while overlooking the famous Palace lawn. The ticket prices are from child to adults; £14.00 to £25.00 per ticket.
